{Photography Project} A Few of my Favorite Things
In light of the new direction my life has recently taken {Photography}, my goal is to start moving the focus of this blog to a little bit more Photography based. Don’t worry, I’ll still be sharing our long, fun-filled life stories with you all as well, because I know there will never be a lack of life lessons and amazing moments to share!
But today — My first official Photography blog post!
I just got done with a week long (which apparently is 10 posts…I never was good with math…I just take pretty pictures), Photography Project of a few of my favorite things (in no particular order).
So, without further adieu — {A Few Favorite Things}
Starting with this ice cream. It may or may not actually be Walmart brand, but I’m telling you, it’s seriously the most-creamy-most-amazing-ness I have tasted of in quite some time. You’re welcome.
This little one. She may be kind of a brat sometimes, but I love her adorable little pissed off looking face!
A face only a mother could love.
This beautiful bench that my friend built for my office. It’s so pretty and it’s gray and I found the perfect pillows to help brighten up my office and to make it feel a little more me!
I love cards from my husband. Like, a lot. I think he learned pretty quickly into our relationship that a holiday wasn’t complete without a card. And “Just because I love you” cards are even more special! These little notes just make my heart happy!
I don’t care how old I am, I love me some Fishies! But, not just any Fishies–These babies are Flavor Blasted! They are bomb.
This light. It taunts me every evening as it pierces through our windows. So goldeny-soft and perfect. It does things to my heart! #photographerlife
I started playing piano with I was 5 years old. I hated it until I was about 12 years old when something just clicked and I fell in love. It became my place to get lost and just let go. I may not find myself here as often as I used to, but music will always be a part of me, and the piano will forever be my first love and one of my most favorite places.
My wedding flowers that my friend made for me. I absolutely love these flowers and love that they look just as “fresh” as they did on our beautiful wedding day! But, my favorite part is the {red string}. Jordan tied that little red string around my finger when he asked me to marry him. And I didn’t take it off until our wedding day when I tied it to these flowers. Forever a reminder of just how much he knows me and a reminder of how much I love our journey and our story!
I’ve never been a huge flower lover. I think they all stink, really bad. (Hence, why I had someone make me pretty fake flowers for my wedding day!) However, there’s something about Baby’s-breath that is absolutely breathtaking to me. Besides the fact that it NEVER stops looking beautiful, even two years old! And Bonus…it doesn’t smell!!
And last but not least…but really at the very top of my list, not even in close comparison (even the ice cream)…This guy. He is my absolute favorite. Even his cute grumpy faces, because he despises having his photo taken, but he lets me anyway because he loves me so good!
And that concludes my “week” of Favorites!!
Thanks for stopping by and you stay sassy, Sacramento!
